Harvard Medical School

The Harvard Faculty of Medicine conducts research in a score of locations around Boston. Ten academic basic and social science departments are housed around the Harvard Medical School quadrangle. But many of the faculty appointed to these departments are based at the 18 teaching hospitals and other affiliated institutions that constitute Harvard medicine. Forty-eight clinical departments conduct vast amounts of basic and clinical research in all areas of medical science.
